Programme Aims and Objectives:
This programme provides you the required knowledge on 3D printing and product design. It is also suitable for individuals who would like to acquire new practical skills. On top of that, entrepreneurship opportunities will be introduced to learners.
Upon completion of the programme, you should be able to :
- Learn about 3D printing technologies
- Design and manufacture products using 3D printer
- Understand and identify entrepreneurship opportunities using 3D printing
Who Should Attend:
Individuals who wish to learn and develop new skill in 3D printing and product design as well as those who are interested to become an entrepreneur.

- The programme is delivered over 2 days
- There are 4 sessions of 4 hours each
- Total contact hours in a classroom training is 16 hours
N-level and above
Upon completion of the programme, you will be awarded with a Certificate of Participation by Management Development Institute of Singapore.
Trainer: Mr. Philip Wee
Philip Wee is an industrial designer, regional educator and Singapore-based 3D Artist who innovates with 3D Printing and advocates pushing the limits of additive manufacturing fusing new materials like with artistic creators. He has lectured in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) on 3D Design (2009-2014). His team had presented “The Istana” Icon co-created with their 3D Pen Pro™ to the Singapore President Halimah Yacob & First Gentleman at Istana, Singapore (2018) with Singapore Science Centre for “Future City” event towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Philip Wee has over 6 years of associate lecturing experience with Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in 3D Design Department. He graduated with a Bachelor of Built Environment with Distinction from Queensland University of Technology (Industrial Design) with an ACTA certification from WDA.
