Programme Objectives

The programme aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • to enable candidates to acquire sufficient breadth of knowledge, deeper insights and a greater understanding of the interdisciplinary area in human resources management
  • to provide candidates with a structured training for personal and career development and job knowledge

It is an endorsement of their competnence in attaining both academic and practical understanding of the subject matters.


Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the MDIS Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.

In addition, graduates from the programme are entitled to use the title, GDip. HRM, after their names.


Upon successful completion of this programme, students will gain entry to Master of Business Adminstration (Human Resource Management) awarded by MDIS.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must be of age 16 and above and must possess ONE of the following entrance requirements:

  • A recognised degree or diploma with two years working experience in any industry OR
  • Mature candidates (≥30 years old with 8 years relevant work experience)


English Language Requirement

Applicants are to meet one of the requirements.

  • C6 pass in English at GCE 'O' level or equivalent OR
  • Achieve a minimum band of 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent OR
  • Pass the English Entrance Test conducted by MDIS OR
  • MDIS Professional Certificate in English
