What is an International Foundation Diploma?
The International Foundation Diploma (IFD) at MDIS aims to prepare students for transition into degree-level study, by equipping them with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to be successful in their chosen area of subjects. This International Foundation Diploma programme creates a progression route into named External Degree Programmes (EDPs) across MDIS, allowing entry to students who do not hold the qualifications to satisfy the usual entry requirements.
The International Foundation Diploma is specially designed for ‘O’ Level and, ITE graduates to pave the way for further studies and career opportunities both in Singapore and overseas. Getting a head start in the fundamentals will equip you to be knowledgeable in your chosen set of subjects. The IFD programme is also great for students who are unable to get admission into their preferred universities and may consider an alternative progression route with MDIS International Foundation Diploma.
