EXAMINE BEST PRACTICES AND SHAPE NEW SUSTAINABLE FUTURES

The Master of Science in Sustainable Tourism programme offers students a holistic understanding of economics, social, and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of people, interconnectivity between countries, industries, the environment, and host communities. It covers a whole spectrum of the tourism industry, from design, planning, and execution of operational facilities, to the behaviour of tourists and the management of tourist destinations.

This programme aims to enhance students’ understanding of the multifaceted nature and global complexity of tourism as well as critically apply social science and management theories, concepts, and frameworks to enhance their knowledge in their course of study. Students will develop higher-level thinking, problem-solving, and practical management skills and harness their creative thinking by planning and conducting research through effective oral and written communication.
