Speakers's Biography

 

 

Dr Darwin Joseph

Information Session

Dr Darwin is the Programme Manager of the Doctorate in Business Administration for Teesside University at MDIS. With over 30 years of experience, including 26 years of teaching across Asia, he has held leadership roles such as Programme Director at Grenoble University, France. Dr Darwin is also an Academic Board Member at Alagappa University, India. At MDIS, he supervises DBA scholars from TU, and serves as an international thesis examiner. In addition, his contributions extend to publishing research papers, presenting at numerous conferences, and participation in over 40 seminars and workshops.

Dr Tommy Lin

Alumni Sharing

Dr Tommy Lin is a prominent figure in both academia and the professional arena. As the first graduate and valedictorian of the MDIS x Teesside University DBA programme, he completed his thesis six months earlier with the support from 8 organisations. His achievements earned him an Honorary Adjunct Research Fellow position at the National University of Singapore. He currently serves as Deputy Director at the National Trades Union Congress, and has significantly impacted the workforce by developing the world’s first Progressive Wage Models, benefitting over 100,000 workers. With degrees in Economics, Finance, and a DBA, Dr Tommy blends academic expertise with practical solutions that makes an impactful difference.
