Course Curriculum
This 24-month part-time programme is delivered on-campus through 2–3 hour teaching blocks by international fly-in lecturers.
Blending theory with practical assessments, it offers feedback-driven learning tailored for nursing practice in Singapore. Students will also train using in-house equipment and simulation facilities at MDIS’ advanced Nursing Practicum Lab.

Assessment
Assessment methods include essays, projects, portfolios, reflective analysis and practical assessments or Observable Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).

Registered nurses with SNB who hold a certificate or diploma in nursing and a current practising certificate (full and conditional registration only) issued by SNB.
Applicant should fulfil one of the following requirements:
- IELTS with a minimum overall band of 6.0 (with no component less than 5.5)
- C6 in English at GCE O-Levels
- C in GCSE
- Grade 6 or above in SPM
- Approved Edinburgh Napier University admission equivalents
Upon successful completion, you will be poised for graduate-level employment as a Staff Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator or Nurse Researcher.
Graduates can also further their studies by pursuing a Master’s degree to pursue career prospects in more senior positions such as Advanced Practice Nurse. This degree allows direct admission to the Healthcare and Nursing Master’s programme.
