Graduate Outcomes
- This course provides an opportunity to acquire up-to-date knowledge in workplace safety risk management and effectively addresses the current educational needs of future health, safety, and risk management professionals.
- This course acknowledges the changing environment of work and incorporates key areas that need to be included in the education of the future health, safety and risk management workforce, namely; workplace health risk management, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and regulation, promoting health and wellbeing in the workforce and improving and maintaining safety standards.
- The course curriculum enables the achievement of standards of expertise sufficient for safe, effective practice to the benefit of employees and employers using a framework based on recent evidence.
- Overall, the course will address the key priorities identified for health, safety and risk management by relevant regulators, legislation and international standards.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age
Academic:
- WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) for Year 3 entry; OR
- Mature candidates 30 years old and above with 8 years of relevant work experience
English Language Requirements
- GCE O Level English Grade C6; OR
- IELTS 6.0 (with no skills below 5.5); OR
- MDIS Professional Certificate in English (PCIE) Advanced Level – minimum 60%; OR
- Pass MDIS English Placement Test – minimum 81%; OR
- University approved equivalent
