Mr Nirodha Ariyaratne | General Manager

Nirodha Ariyaratne graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Bioengineering and a Master’s in Additive Manufacturing from Nanyang Technological University. He has close to 10 years of working experience in digital design & 3D printing. With Medairum, he has worked closely with the healthcare industry to help incorporate 3D printing into dental and medical practices.

Alexis Fong is an educator who has a big love for tailoring, fashion design and marketing. Her interest lies in visual and conceptual arts, and it has seen her dedicate her career to the fashion and education industry for more than seven years, and counting. Her expertise ranges from traditional pattern-cutting skills to graphic design and computer-aided 3D modelling. She had the opportunity to work with acclaimed fashion designer Christian Siriano from New York, and her portfolio spans local and international runways, in addition to lecturing in Uzbekistan, Central Asia.

Baëlf Design was founded by Jamela Law and Lionel Wong. Through a cross-disciplinary practice, Baëlf demonstrates how technology can be democratised for art, design, culture and craft. Baëlf Design offers novel ways of seeing and making through explorations of computational means and procedural strategies. Ever curious, Baëlf is intrigued by hidden significances and meanings in our environment, both natural and artificial, and sees a mission to bring them to light.

 

Baëlf Design has worked with notable collaborators such as Glenfiddich SEA, Swarovski, Vogue and Miss Universe Singapore. Outside of Singapore, Baëlf Design has showcased physical designs in New York, San Francisco, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London and Tokyo.
