Chamomile flowers

Chamomile flowers have commonly been used in tea as a soothing and relaxing tonic. A hot soothing cup of chamomile tea would make it easier for you to tuck in for a good night’s rest. The flowers can be eaten raw, or they can be dried and made into a tea. Chamomile can also be effectively used to soothe a bloated stomach amongst other stomach ailments such as monthly cramps.

The rose is one of the most edible flowers out there and can be found in many foods and beverages. However, do you know that the rose flower has other parts that are good for your body?

For example, the rose hip can be used to combat indigestion, constipation, and even arthritis! The petals of the flowers are also rich in vitamins and antioxidants and can be brewed into tea to relieve stress and tension headaches. There is a herbal tea mix that uses rose buds called the Eight Treasures Tea that is commonly sold by Chinese medicine shops. It is has several health benefits including improving blood circulation, increasing every levels and boosting one’s immune system.

Bak Foong Pills

Bak Foong Pills also known as also known as Bai Feng Wan is a natural remedy for monthly discomforts. It usually comes in a small bottle with tiny pills inside. The pills can help with hormonal balance and regulating one’s menstrual cycle.

Vitex Agnus Castus

The Chaste Tree Berry or the Vitex Agnus-Castus is one of the best herbs to support a woman’s menstrual cycle. It is an effective hormone balancer and has been used to reduce premenstrual syndrome, menstrual cramps, and other pre-menopausal symptoms. The berry is best consumed as a liquid extract and the taste is strong, but the effect is also powerful, especially for women with short menstrual cycles, trouble conceiving, cramping, and PMS.
