Durian, the king of fruits commonly found in Singapore and Malaysia, is a favourite not only among the locals but also foreigners! On 11 July 2018, MDIS hosted an inaugural Durian Fiesta on campus and attracted a good response from students, alumni and corporate members. Participants joined the “all-you-can-eat” durian buffet that included tropical fruits, such as mangosteens, longans and lychees. The durian spread included all-time favourites among durian lovers – Mao Shan Wang, Golden Phoenix and Red Prawn durians.
The participants thoroughly enjoyed the event. If you have missed this year’s event, fret not! Keep a look out next year and join us then!
