Healthcare and Nursing
Why Choose Healthcare and Nursing?
Singapore's healthcare infrastructure is highly advanced and well-developed. With the government's continuous investments, an extensive healthcare sector has been established that responds to the increasing demands of an aging society and sets a global standard for high-quality healthcare services. The ongoing development of new acute and community hospitals, as well as home and community care sectors, points towards a growing need for skilled healthcare professionals. With the global shortage of such professionals, particularly those trained in various clinical specialties like Bachelor of Science in Nursing, it is evident that there's an increasing demand for healthcare administrators and managers with a Degree in Healthcare Management or a Master's Degree in Healthcare Management. There are numerous opportunities for employment in these fields for graduates.
Why Choose MDIS?
MDIS, one of Singapore’s oldest not-for-profit professional institutes for lifelong learning, offers a variety of healthcare courses in Singapore. We employ fly-in faculty or clinically and academically experienced faculty with industry experience to contribute to building our bachelor of nursing and masters in healthcare management courses to keep up with the ever-changing industry needs. Our faculty ensures students can apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios.
We also offer a dedicated nursing lab for clinical training, complete with necessary medical equipment and experienced faculty. This provides a safe and controlled environment for nursing students to practice their skills, thereby gaining hands-on experience.
