School of Engineering

The School of Engineering's mission is to nurture engineering professionals in diverse disciplines through delivering first-class engineering education, teaching excellence and providing opportunity for leadership development.

To meet global challenges, the School is offering Engineering undergraduate programmes together with our world-renowned university partner, the University of Bradford. Bradford's BEng programmes are accredited by professional bodies in the UK and are recognised by the signatories of the Washington Accord.

To further help students who are keen to embark on an exciting career in engineering but who do not have the pre-requisites to enter the undergraduate programmes, the School also offers a Diploma in Engineering course.Upon successful completion of the Diploma programme to the required level, students are guaranteed admission to the first year of undergraduate engineering study at MDIS as well as the University of Bradford.

The School of Engineering is staffed by highly-qualified academics and experienced professionals. Students will also get to enjoy new state-of-the-art facilities in the School's well-equipped workshop and laboratories.

The engineering programmes in MDIS aim to prepare its graduates proficiently for challenging but rewarding careers in all phases of engineering activity ranging from R&D, product design to development and manufacturing.
