Student Ambassador Program

Student Ambassadors of Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) are a group of select students, who are highly motivated and would like to gain work experience while studying at MDIS. Each Student Ambassador will be given the opportunity to represent MDIS at official functions and events both on and off campus. In addition, they will also be representatives of MDIS to various stakeholders such as prospective students and their families. A Student Ambassador would volunteer at least 3 hours per week to a specific department at MDIS Singapore. This can include departments such as Communications, Product & Social Media Marketing, Corporate & Membership Relations, Resource Hub, Information Technology and General Administration.

Main Responsibilities of Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors are required to dedicate at least 3 hours per week to a specific department as well as be present at any events or functions that require official student representation at MDIS. Main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with their assigned department on specific projects
  • Providing campus tours of MDIS when necessary
  • Assisting in Open Days and other campus-wide events
  • Other forms of assistance as deemed suitable

Applying to become a Student Ambassador
Any existing student may apply to become a Student Ambassador. To apply, students will have to submit the following documents to their respective Head of School for approval:

  • A copy of their CV
  • A copy of the Application Form
  • A 200 word statement on why he / she should be chosen as a Student Ambassador
  • A high resolution image of themselves

Once the application has been evaluated and approved, the student will be informed in writing about the Student Ambassador appointment. Only shortlisted students will be contacted.
