It has been an unprecedented event that nobody could have ever\nimagined. The spread of the virus is so rampant, that humans are scrambling to implement\nprecautionary measures to stay safe and healthy, and prevent infection of the\nCOVID-19 virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the precautionary measures, is the\nwearing of surgical masks. Though it is a very basic and simple control\nmeasure, it has remained one of the effective ways of prevention from\ninfection. Other control measures include, social distancing, maintaining personal\nhygiene, reducing human interactions, enforcing a quarantine protocol, educating\nthe masses on the virus and temperature checking.. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, there is an urgent need for a cure\nto this virus. Many medical scientists are sceptical about finding the cure in\nthe fastest and soonest time possible because it may take a year or so, for any\ncure to be clinically tested and mass-produced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, we hope, that with the best possible control measures we have in place, we can prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus further.. With the ending of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.sg\/news-highlights\/details\/circuit-breaker-to-minimise-further-spread-of-covid-19\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"circuit-breaker (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"rank-math-link\">circuit-breaker<\/a> period, and phase 2 of Singapore\u2019s reopening, we need to remain cautious and abide by the control measures in place.
