Introduction

Tough problems solving requires the ability to define the true problem, analyse the possible causes, create options, select the most feasible option and then implement it. A systematic approach will give you the techniques to resolve the problem in a creative way

This two-day problem solving workshop should help participants enhance their skills to find sustainable solutions and learn new ways to approach problem solving to reach win-win decisions.

Objectives

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify problems using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Generate multiple solutions using creative thinking techniques to generate ideas solve workplace problems
  • Evaluate and implement an action plan to resolve workplace problems

Target Audience

Anyone who is or will be involved in problem-solving and need to generate multiple creative solutions to problems will benefit from this course.

  • Understand seven truth about problem solving
  • Reasons to learn problem learning skills
  • Using a structured and systematic approach in identifying and generating solutions to problems
  • Understanding key terms used in  Problem Solving and Creative Solutions
  • How to collect and interpret information gathered on a perceived problem/s
  • Methods used in identifying roots causes to a known problem/s
  • Using Creative Thinking skills to generate solutions to a known problem
  • Conducting and evaluating from a list of selected ideas for a possible solution to a known problem/s
  • List out an action plan for implementation to resolve the known problem/s and conducting a follow-up
