MDIS College Terms And Conditions of Offer


When you commence your program with MDIS College, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted our offer for the same upon the terms and conditions set out hereinafter. A copy of MDIS College Terms and Conditions of Offer is attached to every application form.

Subject to any other terms and conditions contained in MDIS College Confirmation Letter to you, MDIS College Terms and Conditions of Offer are as follows:

1. Refund of Fees

a. All application, registration and other relevant fees paid to MDIS College are non- refundable. Only the paid programme fees are refundable on the following conditions:

Between 30 to 60 days before the Commencement Date.

Less than 30 days to 1 day before the Commencement Date

Percentage of refund after course commencement:

10% of the first installment fees + 100% of other installments paid if any
First day to 14th day after the commencement date.

No refund.
In addition, the students are required to pay 80% of the total course fee

14 days after the commencement date but before completing 50% of the programme/ course / module.
Students are liable to pay full course fees, immediately upon approval of withdrawal
Withdrawal after completion of the half of the duration of the programme/ course or 50% completion of the modules


b. Request for programme withdrawal must be made in writing. Any verbal request for withdrawal from the programme shall not be entertained. The student must write in to the Manager of MDIS College to request for withdrawal from the programme.

c. All registration and membership entrance fees paid to MDIS College are non-refundable. Only the paid programme fees are refundable as mentioned at Refund Policy.

d. In the event that a company-sponsored student withdraws, the company is liable to pay any outstanding tuition fees.

e. There will be no refund of programme fees paid in the event of DEFERMENT regardless of whether the request made is PRIOR TO or AFTER the commencement of the programme.

f. Full refund will be given in the event of non approval of National Service deferment.

g. In the event where a student is applying for a study loan, the membership entrance and subscription fees must be paid PRIOR to the application of the loan.

h. An administrative fee of S$100.00 (subject to prevailing GST) will be levied on each late instalment payment.

i. The discretion for approving a refund of fees outside the tabulated conditions under Refund Policy with the College. The College’s decision is final.

j. A student remains liable for any remaining unpaid programme fee after a withdrawal where the student has signed up for the entire programme.

k. All approved refunds shall be made within fourteen (14) days from the date of a letter of approval sent to the student.


2. Deferment of Application or Programme

a. Deferment of an application or course will only be considered if it is made before the commencement of the course. Deferment of a module will only be considered if it is made before the commencement of that particular module.

b. Deferment of a student is allowed only ONCE up to the next available commencement date of the course. Deferment of a course is allowed only ONCE up to a MAXIMUM PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR, failing which the applicant will be deemed as having withdrawn from the course.

c. All requests for deferment PRIOR to commencement of programme must be made in writing to the Manager, MDIS College. All requests for deferment AFTER commencement of programme must be made in writing to the Manager, MDIS College. Deferment through telephone calls will not be entertained. All requests must be in writing.

d. No deferment request is required if you did not register any subject in any of the programme term. The deferment policy applies after you have registered for the programme with a deferment fee. A deferment fee (equivalent to the number of lessons that have taken place from start of the programme to date of deferment request, regardless of number of lessons attended) will be imposed for all approved deferment request.

e. Approval for deferment is at the sole discretion of the College. The college’s decision is final.


3. Transfer Policy

a. An international student who requests for transfer to another school/institute will be required to pay a transfer application fee of S$400.00 (subject to prevailing GST).

b. The student shall be charged for all modules consumed and all discounts/rebates that the student was entitled to shall be forfeited.

c. Any student who transfers out of MDIS College to another school/institute shall be deemed as having withdrawn from the College, and the existing terms and conditions of MDIS’ refund policy shall follow.

d. All requests for transfer or downgrading of package must be submitted in writing and supported with a transfer application fee of S$100.00 (subject to prevailing GST).

e. The student will be charged for all modules consumed and all transfer requests must be submitted before or within one (1) month from commencement of class.

f. Transfer requests received after one (1) month from class commencement date will not be entertained. Students who insist on a transfer will have their request processed as a withdrawal.

g. In the event that a student has paid in excess of consumed fees, the College will process the refund of the unconsumed fee portion accordingly.
