Internship
Based on the needs of the partnering organisations, MDIS will assist in arranging for students to undergo the internship programme with companies which tied-up with MDIS. These companies provide students with the opportunity to be exposed to the corporate world. Things to note before applying for the internship programmes:
1. Period of Internship
The internship period is determined by the companies and the duration can range from 2 to 6 months depending on companies' requirements.
2. Internship allowance and working hours
The recommended monthly allowance is from $400 to $600, depending on companies. Students will follow the normal working/operation hours of the companies/organisations. However, overtime may be required at the discretion of the companies.
3. Internship requirements:
The internship programmes are opened only to local full/part-time students who have completed their Advanced Diploma/currently taking Degree courses. Student must be availabe full-time for the internship programme and must ensure that internship will not disrupt their studies.

Job Requirements :
Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related fields is desired.

Must have a strong technical background with web server and LDAP experience. Networking, OS, and programming skills are also a strong plus (programming particularly in Java and or PHP).
Strong communication skills in English is a must (Mandarin spoken and written is a plus).
