Internship

Based on the needs of the partnering organisations, MDIS will assist in arranging for students to undergo the internship programme with companies which tied-up with MDIS. These companies provide students with the opportunity to be exposed to the corporate world.

Things to note before applying for the internship programmes:

1. Period of Internship

The internship period is determined by the companies and the duration can range from 2 to 6 months depending on companies' requirements.

2. Internship allowance and working hours

The recommended monthly allowance is from $400 to $600, depending on companies. Students will follow the normal working/operation hours of the companies/organisations. However, overtime may be required at the discretion of the companies.

3. Internship requirements:

The internship programmes are opened only to local full/part-time students who have completed their Advanced Diploma/currently taking Degree courses. Student must be availabe full-time for the internship programme and must ensure that internship will not disrupt their studies.

Under the ICA regulations, international students are not eligible for internship programmes, students may click on the below link for more information
